A lucky Dubliner has told of their "complete shock" after after claiming their EuroMillions plus top prize ticket worth a whopping €500,000 in Lottery HQ this afternoon.
The player, who wishes to remain private, spoke of how they felt when they found out they’d won the incredible prize. They said: “I’m just in complete shock! It still hasn’t really sunk in yet. I’ve no big plans made for the money yet, but clearing off the mortgage will be top of the list. It’s a nice amount of money – not completely life changing but will make our lives a little easier and take some pressure off."
The Dublin player purchased their EuroMillions Plus quick pick ticket worth €500,000 at the Student Union shop located on the Trinity College Campus in Dublin city centre. Meanwhile tonight’s Lotto Jackpot rolls to an estimated €6.5million.
