Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) promising batsman Ayush Badoni acknowledged the unwavering faith shown in him by captain KL Rahul and coach Justin Langer, despite a shaky start to the current IPL season. Their support, he said, proved instrumental in his performance against the Delhi Capitals (DC), even though the match ended in defeat for LSG.

Badoni, aged 24, showcased his talent with an impressive unbeaten knock of 55 runs from 35 balls, aiding in the revival of LSG innings. Their total of 167 for 7 set a competitive target, yet the Delhi Capitals managed to chase it down in 18.1 overs on Friday.
