Luca Bish 's family have paid a sweet tribute to his bromance with Jacques O'Neill, following the rugby star's dramatic exit from the Villa.
Those entrusted to run Luca's social media accounts while he's in Spain also slammed the 'disgusting' abuse Jacques has received and reminded fans to 'be kind' in the wake of his departure.
Jacques tearfully bid farewell to his fellow islanders during Tuesday night's episode of Love Island, following a heated clash with new bombshell Adam Collard.
While Gemma Owen seemed indifferent to her ex-boyfriend heading home early, beau Luca was devastated when he had to bid his pal a tearful farewell goodbye.
Taking to his Instagram Stories after the show aired on Tuesday, the fishmonger's loved ones shared a sweet video montage of Jacques and Luca's sweetest moments together.
In the sweet clips, both boys can be seen laughing and embracing together in the Villa as tear-jerking music acts as a soundtrack.
"Luca will be so so gutted," the star's family captioned the cute tribute.
Following Jacques' exit being explained on screen, Luca's social media team issued a powerful statement about his emotional reaction to the news and slam those who have attacked Jacques online.
"We can't stop crying. Completely heartbroken," they began captioning a snap of the Jacques and Luca hugging.
"Watching Luca cry and not being able to hug him is the worst person ever ever ever," they continued.
"Luca you really are the kindest, most caring boy in the world FACT," the post went on. "Friends for life."
Referencing some of the negative comments about Jacques, Luca's team added: "Side note: the hate Jacques is getting is disgusting. Let's all applaud a man for wearing his emotions on his sleeve!!!! It is so important to be kind, always."
Explaining his reasons for quitting the show to Paige Thorne on Tuesday night's show, Jacques told the Welsh paramedic he felt like he couldn't be the best version of himself whilst living in the Spanish villa.
"You've got the best of me and now you're getting the worst of me," he told her, before heading downstairs to ask the rest of the group to gather by the fire pit to announce his exit.
Prior to Jacques sharing his decision, viewers saw tensions reach boiling point after Gemma Owen told her ex-boyfriend that Adam Collard had been 'sla*ging' him off.
Jacques fumed as he stormed over to Paige and demanded to know what Adam had said about him.
As Billy Brown tried to help, Jacques told him to "f*ck off" as he continued probing Paige, before eventually coming to a decision to head home early.
