On a night when both former Boston Celtics in the contest had relatively low-scoring games, floor general Shane Larkin and big man Juancho Hernangomez combined for 11 points in Turkey’s 72-69 loss to Spain in EuroBasket play.
For Spain, Hernangomez put up 8 points, 7 rebounds an assist and a block. He committed one foul and one turnover in just over 18 minutes of play off the bench. For Turkey, Larkin’s shooting woes continued. The onetime Miami player added 3 points on 1-of-6 shooting.
Larkin also contributed 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and a steal in the loss, fouling twice and turning the ball over once in just under 31 minutes of game time.
The injury, sustained in FIBA World Cup qualifier play, will likely keep Gallinari out of action through at least the end of the 2022-23 regular season, and perhaps beyond it.. https://t.co/NrDTEwkkug
