Celebrations are under way at a North East pub after Sam Fender added another two awards to his trophy cabinet.
The North Shields superstar bagged two honours at Wednesday night's Bandlab NME Awards ceremony.
Fender's beloved local, the Low Light's Tavern in North Shields, took to social media to congratulate the singer songwriter.

Fender's second studio album, Seventeen Going Under, beat the likes of Halsey, Little Simz and Tyler, the Creator to take home the Best Album in the World.
And he struck gold twice in one night, also being awarded the Best UK Album for the very same record.
Sam also opened the show and performed at the ceremony which took place at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.
When the time came for the awards, Presenter Asim Chaudhry aka Chabuddy G, and TikTok star Francis Bourgeois announced the honour to Sam and his band for Best Album in the World.
Upon receiving the award, Sam said: “We didn’t even know we were nominated until two sentences ago, class that like."
He added: "Scream if you wanna go faster.”
Guitarist Dean Thompson also said: “Loads of Geordie passion in the house tonight."
Speaking to NME after the show, Fender also went on to say the title of the award was a 'bit to far'.
During the post-show interview, he said: "I mean, it's a bit too far that really isn't it? It's not the best album in the world.
"It was a good one - preferably I thought Little Simz was a little bit better to be honest, quite frankly, so she should have had the award - but we're here anyway, and we'll take it."
Sam Fender also picked up the Best UK Album award on the night itself, besting the likes of Ghetts, Wolf Alice, and Self Esteem to claim two trophies at the event.
Sam found himself nominated for six awards in total on the night itself, including Best Song in the World and Best Solo Act in the World.
The wins come after he bagged a coveted Brit Award for the Best Rock/Alternative Act which he later handed over to the Low Lights Tavern in North Shields as promised.
And the Low Lights Tavern took to social media to pay their respects to the 'rock star' who continues to effortlessly put North Shields on the map.
In a Facebook post, they wrote: "Two awards incl this one at NME.
"Well done Sam and Dean, Joe, Drew, Tom and Johnny.
"Rock stars all over. Best album in the world."
Before his Brit Award success last month, Sam promised to hand his coveted trophy to the boozer, so they could turn it into a bar pump - in a similar fashion to a previous Rising Star Award he won in 2019.
Seventeen Going Under was released in October last year, following on from Fender's debut album Hypersonic Missiles in 2019.
Upon its release, NME touted the record as their Best Album of 2021, besting 49 others in their top 50 list including Halsey, Billie Eilish, Chvrches, and Royal Blood.
