Tributes have been paid to a 'loving' teenager who died in a crash.
Ben Smith was killed in a crash involving a moped and motorbike on on Holcroft Lane, Warrington. Emergency services rushed to the incident, at around 9.30pm, on Monday, July 18, but the 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another 13-year-old boy was rushed to hospital by the North West Ambulance Service with serious injuries. Police said Ben's family were now being supported by specialist officers.

In a joint tribute issued through Cheshire police, his family said: "Ben Smith - The kind hearted boy who made everyone laugh. He was deeply loved and will be missed by so many people.
"Funeral details to follow. Family request privacy at this time. Always loved but never forgotten. A loving Son and Brother Xxxx."
Officers are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have seen a moped and another motorbike around the time of the incident to come forward. The same goes to anyone who may dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
