For LoveShackFancy's Spring 2027 runway show on September 10, the designer looked back to her own noughties youth, staging the collection at the new Dante on Elizabeth Street in Nolita as part of New York Fashion Week. Vogue's schedule lists the show at 5 p.m. on September 10.
A lifelong New Yorker, Hessel Cohen drew on memories of a pre-social-media New York populated by magazine editors, publicists and scenesters. But according to Vogue's backstage report, the designer was less interested in reproducing the decade's visual identity than in capturing what she remembered as its free-spiritedness.
