Tributes have poured in for a "lovely" man who died suddenly.
Emergency services were called to a house on Whitefield Way in Everton on Friday, October 14. When officers arrived the scene they found a man, in his 60s, had died.
Police said they have now launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. A spokesperson for the force said they are currently treating the death as sudden and unexplained.

A post mortem is due to take place to establish the cause of death. The man was today named locally as David by neighbours. One person, who lives nearby to the scene, told the ECHO he was a "lovely guy" who would "never hurt a fly."
They added: "He always said hello to all of the neighbours, he was a nice guy."
Officers remained at the scene today (Monday) as they carry out enquiries. Neighbours told the ECHO that officers have been at the scene over the weekend since Friday.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We are currently investigating the sudden unexplained death of a man in his 60s. A post mortem is due to take place to establish the cause of death and enquiries remain ongoing."
