Tributes have poured in for a "lovely" woman who died after being hit by ambulance.
Carrie Loughlin, believed to be from north Liverpool, was a pedestrian involved in a crash with an ambulance shortly after 10pm on Wednesday, March 16 on the A540, Parkgate Road in Mollington. Police said the ambulance is not believed to have been responding to an incident at the time of the crash.
The 35-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said at the time, an ambulance was involved in a crash while transporting a non-emergency patient under "normal driving conditions".

Now, tributes have flooded in for Carrie and ECHO readers have sent messages of support to her family. Writing on the ECHO's Facebook page, Linda Gallagher said: "So sad R.I.P Carrie. Thinking of all her family. Deepest sympathy to you all."
Danielle Santangeli added: "RIP Carrie deepest sympathy to your family. You always had the biggest smile on your face." Reader Faybo Jones also said: "Rest in Peace Carrie, thinking of her family at this awful time. Always had a smile on her face, good memories of our school days."
Sophie Keeley said: "Deepest sympathy to all Carrie's family at this time. Such a lovely girl who always had a smile on her face, so sad." Lauren Hughes PT added: "So, so sad RIP Carrie life is just so cruel thinking of all the family at this sad time, fly high queen."
On Monday, Carrie's family also paid tribute to the 35-year-old and described her as a "beloved daughter, sister and granddaughter". They said: “We are heartbroken at the sudden passing of our beautiful Carrie.
"She was always so full of light and the love and laughter she brought us will never be forgotten. Carrie was a beloved daughter, sister and granddaughter and will be sorely missed by the many who loved and cherished her.”
The A540 Parkgate Road was closed in both directions after the crash, as recovery work and accident investigation took place. It was shut from around 10pm until 4.10am on the morning of Thursday, March 17.
Following the incident, a spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "Shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 16 March police were called to reports of a collision on the A540, Parkgate Road, in Mollington. Officers attended to the scene and found that there had been a collision between a female pedestrian and an ambulance.
"Sadly the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no reports of any other injuries. The ambulance is not believed to have been responding to an incident at the time of the collision.
"Enquiries in relation to the incident are in the early stages and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone with video footage which may aid the investigation. At the time, a North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "At around 10pm on Wednesday, March 16, an ambulance was involved in a road traffic collision on Parkgate Road, Mollington, while transporting a non-emergency patient to hospital under normal driving conditions.
"Sadly, a pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. We are helping Cheshire Police with their enquiries and providing welfare support to colleagues involved in the incident."
