Peter, a loving and devoted father and grandfather, sadly died in August after suffering a fall and then catching covid. He was a wonderful, positive and yet gentle person with a great sense of humour and a highly developed intellect.
He worked as a mathematician at the University of Salford for over forty years where he was a fantastic teacher. He was also a wonderful, thoughtful and caring father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.

08/12/1937 - 20/09/2022 On 20th September 2022, passed away peacefully in her sleep, in the care of Abney Court Care Home, Cheadle. Barbara, a much respected founder member of the Manchester and North West Blue Badge Tourist Guide Associations, will be sadly missed by her many friends and colleagues.

Joseph Anthony Michael (of Smithy Bridge Littleborough). On Sunday, the 4th of September 2022, Joseph (Tony - Rocky) passed away peacefully at Wythenshawe Hospital, aged 79 years.
Much loved Husband of Elaine, Father (in-law) to Glyn & Rebecca, Grandad of Emily, Ethan & Lewin, a Brother, Uncle, and Friend to many. Tony will be sadly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him, and will be remembered with warmth and love.
Service of commemoration will take place at Rochdale Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, the 27th of September 2022 at 11am, followed by an interment within the cemetery. A celebration of his life will take place thereafter at Littleborough cricket club.
