'Love the guy but that ship has sailed' - Manchester United fans unsure over Paulo Dybala links

Manchester United fans are split on whether the club should bring in Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala this summer, with the Argentine set to leave Juventus for free at the end of the season.

United were previously linked with a possible move for the 28-year-old, who has scored 113 goals in 283 appearances for the Old Lady in just under seven years. Dybala has netted 13 times this campaign but has been plagued by various muscle injuries.

His stint in Turin has seen him win five Serie A titles and four Copa Italia trophies. Some United fans feel his goalscoring prowess outweighs his injury issues, especially given the fact he would arrive at Old Trafford for nothing. Supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the possible signing of Dybala, who played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Italy for three years…

@RealGOATMLT12: I wouldn't mind it, as he'll have a few years of built-in chemistry with Cristiano during their Juventus days. And if they can get anything close to what happened in 2018/2019 league-wise we'll have something pretty sweet to look forward to.

@FutbolZEE: He is better than all of those players who are playing at his position in our club.

@splxxd: He's a great player most definitely would take him, but it'll take time before he adapts to Premier League.

@s_soala: If the new manager wants him then I have no problem at all.

@TracyjonesUtd: Since Pogba and Van de Beek is not good enough, yeah I take him.

@TxpleM: I suppose having him on a free transfer can't hurt too much.

@raphnelson_abah: Signing Dybala for free won't be a bad idea if you ask me, we can still get a decent player from that deal and probably talk him into taking a pay cut as well.

Meanwhile, others aren’t so sure and feel his best days might be behind him, with his injury issues becoming more frequent in recent years.

@anthonyhoukayem: He's gonna be on massive wages, he'll probably struggle in the Premier League, and then we won't be able to sell him. We've done this a million times before.

@gs_23: He’s a bit inconsistent and also we have Bruno for that role with Mejbri also coming through the ranks!

@_DoBronx_: Too inconsistent even though I rate his talent.

@JohannRed16: 28, injury-prone, muscle injuries and another number 10, which we don’t need. An intense PL is the wrong place for him, much more suited to La Liga.

@Pkwestel: I'm a huge Dybala fan. Love the guy, but the ship sailed on him playing for United.
