One Love Islander has been branded a “cheat” and a “narcissist”, before even stepping into the villa.
George Fensom believes he will have to prove himself when she series kicks off next week, after his announcement he was going on the show was met with some negative stories.
His ex-girlfriend went viral on TikTok making claims about his behaviour during their relationship, including that he was unfaithful to her.
But Bedford businessman George, 24, insists her accounts are not accurate whatsoever.
“I’m not this person that’s been painted a picture of,” he says. “I’m a nice, funny guy with terrible dad jokes.
“I’ve always been faithful. I even feel dirty when I put a dirty bit of washing in the sink, let alone cheating in a relationship... I wouldn’t personally be able to deal with the guilt.
“I’ve just got to move forward now and go into the villa and prove that isn’t the George that’s been painted a picture of, that isn’t me – that would never be me.
“I really can’t think of anything worse than being something like that.”
However, he has held up his hands to admit that he posted Tweets using homophobic language as a youngster, which he says he now regrets.
George reveals: “I honestly just feel absolutely sick because those Tweets couldn’t be any further from the man I am today.
“It’s me being really naive at that age. I made the account back in 2011, so it’s just stupidity on my behalf and doesn’t reflect on who I am today at all.”
