Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has signed one of the biggest brand deals ever just weeks after leaving the villa.
The Turkish actress has reportedly signed a whopping £1million deal with fashion giant Oh Polly after winning the show with beau Davide Sanclimenti. The couple took the joint crown by a landslide in the ITV2 dating show finale, beating out Gemma Owen and Luca Bish for the top spot.
A source told The Sun: “After speaking with all of the major fashion brands Ekin-Su wanted to work with a brand that aligned to her own values of sustainability and therefore decided against signing to a fast fashion brand. She is the most in demand love island star EVER.”
Oh Polly was without a doubt one of the most popular brands worn by this year's Islanders. Over 100 items appeared on screen and Ekin-Su proved to be a huge fan as she wore 27 items, followed by Tasha who wore 13 items and Danica who wore 11.
Ekin-Su, 27, is set to become one of the most successful Islanders ever as experts were predicting her earnings could surpass Molly-Mae Hague's before she even left the villa. A source told the publication: “There’s a pretty well-trodden path for Love Island winners. Over the past seven series it’s the usual fast fashion, drugstore make-up and then, of course, teeth whitening and protein shakes.
“Only Molly-Mae has really and truly broken that mould but even she ended up finding a home at a High Street fashion brand, Pretty Little Thing, albeit on a £250,000 salary. Ekin’s appeal to brands appears to have gone way beyond all that. It’s not just clothing brands, but big, global corporate brands that want to work with her. She’s going to be a very, very busy girl.”
However, Ekin-Su isn't the only Islander in extremely high demand as the 19-year-old daughter of footballer Michael Owen was spotted meeting with Boohoo bosses on Friday. Gemma is reportedly in talks to sign a six figure deal to become the face of fast fashion giant Boohoo.
