It's certainly not uncommon to spot hot air balloons bobbing above Bristol's skyline, but perhaps it is a little unexpected to find a Love Island star hovering above the city in one. This morning, October 11, Davide Sanclimenti took a hot air balloon ride over Bristol, on what was a very chilly start to the day.
Davide starred in this year's series of Love Island, having entered the villa on the first day of the competition. The Italian stallion stole dressage star Gemma Owen from Liam Llewellyn on day two, before deciding to couple up with Ekin-Su a few days later. Although Davide then ended up with Gemma again, and Antigoni, he ultimately got back with Ekin-Su, and the couple were crowned the winners of this year's series in August.
Davide announced his arrival in Bristol yesterday evening by sharing a snap of Bristol Temple Meads against a blissful blue sky. At that point, it was not clear what Davide would be getting up to in Bristol, but all was made apparent as the star embarked on a day out in the West Country city today.
