Welsh Islander, Paige Thorne, has been booted out of the Love Island villa alongside partner, Adam Collard. In scenes that aired on Sunday, July 31, Paige and Adam discovered that they were a "vulnerable" couple and gathered around the firepit to hear the results of the public vote.
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti were saved first and then Gemma Owen and Luca Bish. Viewers were on the edge of their seats as Love Island went to an ad-break before they could find out who else had been saved. When the show returned, Paige and Adam's fate was revealed as the Islanders found out that Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri had been saved. Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack were already through to the final so not included in the vote. Read the full list of finalists here.
In an interview with ITV following her exit, Paige said: "The friendships you make in there and the experiences you take from it is so once in a lifetime. To sit there, not know the time, not know the day, and just chill with people, it’s amazing. I had the best summer ever.

"Doing dating in a Love Island way actually takes so much pressure off you. You’re not checking social media, you’re not checking when somebody’s last read a message. You find out in there pretty early on if you have a connection or not. You spend 24/7 with someone and get to know a person really fast. There’s also no hidden surprises along the way because you’re seeing them day in, day out."
The 24-year-old was partnered with Adam Collard, a former Islander who made a sensational comeback earlier in the series. Recent episodes saw the pair come clean about their feelings for one another. During Sunday's episode, Paige and Adam met each other's parents. You can read more about that here.
Adam’s dad Billy told him of Paige: “She’s amazing. Definitely. She’s a nice girl. She’s grounded.” Meanwhile, when Paige asked her mum for her thoughts on Adam, she said: "I'm not buying it. The way you were with Jacques, you were a lot more bouncy and had a lot more personality. With Adam, you're different." Paige's dad, meanwhile, told his daughter how he had only watched her first episode on the show.
Responding to Paige's exit, one person wrote on Twitter: "Goodbye honeybuns," in reference to the paramedic's iconic catchphrase on the show. Another wrote: "Paige was a great islander on this series. She did herself proud"
Referencing former partner, Jacques O'Neill's exit, someone else suggested: "Paige should've left with jacques."
In a more negative light, one social media user said: "Paige is gonna be so shocked when she gets home lmao." These thoughts were echoed by someone else, who suggested: "Paige and Adam are breaking up at the airport. Her mum has already clocked him and the producers literally only brought Adam to keep her in. Acts over. Thank yew x"
Paige's Love Island journey has been somewhat mixed. When the Welsh paramedic began the competition, she was paired with Luca Bish by the public. However, it became clear from the beginning that the pair wouldn't become a romantic couple. Paige's luck changed, however, when rugby player Jacques O'Neill, the ex of Gemma Owen who then coupled with Luca, entered the Mallorcan villa. Paige and Jacques appeared to hit it off and were getting on well up until Casa Amor.
After Jacques tested his feelings for Paige by getting close to new girl Cheyanne Kerr in Casa Amor, things didn't recover between the two. In emotional scenes, Jacques chose to leave the villa of his own accord, in order to get "back to himself". He told Paige that he'd wait for her and said that he'd be at the airport to pick her up.
Paige, meanwhile, seemed to have other ideas and got closer to returning islander Adam. The pair became 'exclusive' in scenes that aired last week.
Love Island concludes at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub on Monday, August 1. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
