Love Island fans were thrilled as ITV confirmed the start date of the new season.
The popular dating programme has become a cultural phenomenon since it returned to our screens in 2015. ITV has confirmed the 10th season is just days away as it will premiere on June 5.
The broadcaster announced the exciting news on Twitter alongside a snap of host Maya Jama. It announced on the official account: "It's a date.

"Love Island returns Monday 5th June." Fans took to the comments in excitement as a new batch of singletons travel to the Majorcan villa to find love.

Last year's dramatic edition saw Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-su Cülcüloğlu crowned winners after a rollercoaster stint in the villa. Other viewers took to Twitter with surprise as they couldn't believe how fast the new season had come back around.
