The introduction of new Love Islander Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu has had viewers of the ITV2 show on the edge of their seats. Since Love Island returned at the start of the week, some have claimed that it has been a slow start in the villa, criticising it as “boring”. As soon as 27-year-old Ekin-Su stepped foot in the villa, however, the game changed and trouble is set to ensue.
The actress, who made her debut on Thursday, June 7, made it clear to her fellow female Islanders that she wasn’t on the show to “make friends.” Ekin-Su’s actions led Luca to deem her “dangerous” and predicted that she would cause trouble in the villa.
Over on Twitter, Ekin-Su’s arrival was divisive with viewers. One person said: “I enjoy the drama that she is bringing but Ekin-Su is sooo annoying. Everything she’s doing is so obvious.” Following her entrance, she has made it clear that she has her eyes cast on Davide - much to Gemma Owen’s dismay.
Viewers praised the “graft” that Ekin-Su was putting in. One Tweeter said: “Ekin-Su is putting in OVERTIME,” as they witnessed the Islander talk to multiple men on her first day.
Whilst Ekin-Su’s appearance was praised by some, others believed that she was deliberately causing trouble. One person wrote on Twitter: “Ekin-Su is cringing me out now she’s doing too much.”
