There has also been the arrival of five bombshells sent in to spruce things up, with one of them already exiting the villa in the first dramatic recoupling.
The end of Monday evening’s episode gave fans the power to vote for their favourite boy and girl from the cast, taking the choice away from who the cast couples up with.
Haris' was dumped from the villa, it comes after a video emerged appearing to show the ITV star in an ugly street brawl.
The clip shows Haris landing a punch on the unnamed man as they face off in the street.
Ron made a comment about new aussie bombshell Aaron, who entered the villa on Sunday night.
The new bombshells got off to a dramatic start and have definitely ruffled a few feathers.
Ron, 26 called Aaron ‘a knock off’ version of him because they had the same haircut.
Love Island fans took to Twitter saying they thought Ron was being arrogant.
One said: “Aaron’s a little knock version of me” Ron chill out now… #loveisland”
A second said: "Ron is a bit rude about Aaron a knock off version of himself?"
While a third said: “NO WAY Ron opened his mouth and said Aaron is a copy off him #LoveIslandUK #loveisland”
Some fans were calling for Lana to show interest in Aaron to ruffle Ron’s feathers.
One fan said: “Lana needs to get rid of Ron and go for Aaron, Ron turns his head too easily #loveisland”
Ron has also come under fire from fans for getting involved with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins' argument that aired during Monday’s episode.
Ron was heard trying to calm Zara down after she raged at Olivia.
Zara and Olivia haven't seen eye to eye in recent episodes of the ITV2 dating show because they're both going after semi-professional footballer Tom, 23.
Original Islander Olivia, coupled up with Tom on day two, but after the most recent recoupling, Zara, stole him off her.
In last night's episode both of them confessed to previously dating a celeb.
While Olivia teased her ex is an athlete, Zara claimed she'd kissed Usain Bolt.
However, Zara's claim to fame with Usain has been thrown into doubt by some viewers, who pointed out the sprinter has been in a long term relationship for years.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two, ITV2 and ITVX.
