After weeks of speculation on when it might start, Love Island's return date has been officially confirmed by ITV, with bosses also making a bold declaration about the show..

Since it made its debut in 2015, Love Island has been nothing short of a TV phenomenon. .While slightly older viewers will remember the celebrity version, featuring the likes of Bianca Gascoigne and Calum Best in the mid 00s, it was its reboot on ITV2 that soar its popularity soar as viewers tune in night after night to get a look at the latest goings on in the villa.

Love Island has given us everything over the past seven years. There have been hook ups, break ups, eggs going in baskets, texts aplenty and plenty of fire pit drama. Oh and two words for you all....Casa Amor! As well as the abundance of drama the programme's infamous second villa has brought, there have been some long lasting romances from Love Island.
