After waiting a month for a Geordie to be on Love Island, we finally have one, as Gateshead born model and creative assistant Gabby Jeffery has gone into the show as part of this year's Casa Amor twist.
Over the years, Casa Amor has delivered the goods when it comes to high drama; with the recouplings at the end of the week bringing some jaw-dropping moments. Who can forget 'loyal' Georgia Steele telling Josh he'd 'f**ed' it in 2018, when he returned from Casa with new girl Kaz or when Amber Gill walked back into the main villa in 2019 to see Michael hand in hand with bombshell Joanna.
Shaughna Phillips gave Love Island viewers the instantly iconic 'congrats hun' reaction to Callum returning with Molly in the winter series at the start of 2020, before Millie Court was delivered a bitter bow from new arrival Lillie Haynes, when the South Shields girl revealed she'd been getting close to Liam in Casa Amor, while Millie had completely closed herself off from the new lads in the main villa.
And now, after loads of speculation, Casa Amor is back, with singer Ne-Yo the unlikely decoy to help the girls escape from the main villa and into Casa, where they were joined by six new boys. The lads back in the main villa won't be alone for long though as they'll be joined by six Casa Amor girls, including Molly Marsh, a week after she was dumped and Gabby.
Originally from Leam Lane, Gabby, 24,now lives in Manchester and has worked as a creative assistant for Pretty Little Thing, the fashion brand that is a big favourite of Love Island stars. She also modelled for PLT in a big swimwear event in Miami last year and rubbed shoulders with the stars at Coachella.
Gabby will be seen going into the main villa on Sunday night, having made a fleeting appearance on screen at the end of Friday's episode. But, while she may have been on TV for a second, there's already plenty of support for her, with friends, including former X Factor star Abi Garrido taking to social media to wish her luck. Gabby's other Instagram followers include Jazmine Nichol, the Newcastle club manager who went into Casa Amor last year.
