Love Island star shocked Kai is in the final as they back outside favourites to win

Anna-May Robey hints that she wants Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins to walk away with the Love Island crown but admits another couple could win.

The Welsh beauty entered the villa on day one and coupled up with Haris before later choosing to couple up with Kai just four days later.

However, her South African dream came to an end on day nine when Aussie bombshells Aaron and Jessie chose to send her home.

But despite initially being coupled up with Kai, who later coupled with Olivia – Anna-May has revealed she initially didn't believe he would go the distance and make it to the final.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 20-year-old explained: "When Kai was coupled up with Olivia, I didn't expect that to go any further.

"I didn't think I'd see him in the final but now seeing him coupled up with Sanam, I do see it – they seem really compatible.

"I think everyone in the final, it makes sense but I am gutted Will and Jessie have gone because I do think they'd have had a really good chance."

Reflecting on who she'd like to see win, Anna-May continued: "Ron and Lana because I think they've had a bit of a journey in there, seeing them together was really nice, it was really refreshing, they really got along, they were bouncing off each other and laughing.

"Obviously I wasn't in there when all the bombshells came in and Ron turned his head but I really like both of them and I really do think they are a match.

"He's done Love Island, you've got to test yourself."

Although she may want her friends to be crowned, Anna believes that two other Islanders may walk away with the large prize of £50,000.

"Tom and Sammy, I just feel like they're the perfect couple," she gushed before continuing: "They haven't had a lot of ups and downs and they got on really well."

It comes after Anna-May revealed that some of her fellow Islanders have already silenced the group WhatsApp – despite only recently jetting back from South Africa.

She said: "We do have a WhatsApp group but it's not really been going off very much.

"Everybody's kind of gone their separate ways already – or maybe there's a divide."

Anna admits that she's on "good terms" with each cast member but says she would spend more time with a select few now they're in the outside world.

"I'd probably spend more time with Ellie, Zara and Olivia, the people I was closest to in there," she said.
