Life can turn on a dime in the Love Island villa and Luca Bish 's sister is not taking any chances.
The 23-year-old fishmonger was initially coupled up with Welsh paramedic Paige, but made a beeline for Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma after he pulled her for a chat.
Professional dressage rider Gemma, 19, and Luca have been getting to know each other and seemed one of the more settled couples in this year’s cast.
That was until bombshell Danica stunned the country as she chose to couple up with him in a shock re-coupling move last week.
Luca has still been pining for Gemma, sleeping in a separate bed to Danica and shutting down her advances.
And Luca’s big sister Claudia has told how much she approves of Luca and Gemma’s relationship, but that doesn’t mean she’s getting rid of the messages from all the girls sliding into his DMs while he's away.
“They are a really lovely match and I’m excited to watch them evolve,” she told OK!. “ I checked their star sign compatibility and, according to the stars, they are made for each other!”
She said Danica’s move was “bold” and has enjoyed watching the chaos unfold. “It’s shaken it up a little, which is fun,” she said.
Claudia is managing Luca’s Instagram and Twitter accounts while he’s in Mallorca.
Luca’s been flooded with messages from celebs since he’s been in the villa. Claudia said: “We have had SO many DM’s from celebrities and past islanders being supportive and sharing their love for him. We are actually quite blown away.”
Alongside the celebs, Luca’s had countless messages from ladies professing their love. “I’ve become immune to it now! I have left the messages there for him just in case love doesn’t work out for him in the villa (which doesn’t seem remotely likely as it stands.. sorry ladies),” Claudia revealed to the publication.
“It’s wild how much effort some people go to to almost pitch themselves.”
Claudia also said his Nonna Rose is not missing a second on her grandson’s time on reality telly and said she is “loving it”.
His big sister has been bursting with pride every night watching him and thinks he’ll stay loyal if he makes it to Casa Amor.
“I think myself, and the whole nation, would be shocked if he didn’t. I suppose it depends how he and Gemma unfold,” she confessed.
