Luca Bish's sister has returned to social media after announcing she would be taking a break from running her brother’s account after being left feeling "broken" by nasty trolls.
The Love Island star, 23, has found himself in hot water during the last week over his behaviour towards Gemma Owen and Tasha Ghouri.
During the Mad Movies challenge, Luca lashed out at Gemma after watching another boy in Casa Amor flirting with her.
More recently, he was accused of "bullying" fellow Islander Tasha alongside Dami after his brutal remarks during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.
His family later apologised for his "insensitive" behaviour" and said that when he watches it back he will be "deeply embarrassed".
Meanwhile, on the show both boys took Tasha to one side to apologise for making her cry after the challenge became too “personal”.
However, earlier this week, Luca’s sister, who is handling his social media accounts while he’s in the Love Island villa, has now returned to Instagram after saying she would take a break in the wake of receiving numerous death threats.
Posting a photo of Luca and Gemma in the villa pool together, she captioned the post: “It really is FINtastic watching their ROEmance blossom everyday.”
Luca’s sister made the issue of hateful comments to the Instagram account apparent when she responded to a question on her Instagram Stories earlier this week asking how she and the family were doing.
She replied: "First of all, thank you for the tons of people that asked this. Is I'm being honest, not remotely okay. It's really hard.
"How would you feel having people constantly praying for death over the people you love more than anything in the world? We feel broken.
"I'm not stupid, I understand that people will always have their opinions and nobody can take that away from them, but if you saw HALF of the messages we have received then I'm sure anyone would feel disgusted.
"I really wanted to do a fun Q&A today but I'm going to have to take a little breather from it all as I'm not coping very well with seeing stuff like this.
"Thank you for the continued support for the ones showing love, you are all angels, but understandably I'll be logging off from managing the account for a little bit."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
