Love Island star Luca Bish admits he's 'punching' as he poses with Gemma Owen

Love Island star Luca Bish admitted he's 'punching' as he posed with his gorgeous other half Gemma Owen.

When the former contestants were still in the Mallorcan villa last month, viewers were outraged when Luca insisted he wasn't punching with the daughter of Michael Owen.

Since leaving the series, the duo have made light-hearted jokes about the situation on social media.

And now, Luca took to Instagram to share a sweet couple snap with his 1.4 million followers.

"I'm punching," he simply captioned the post.

In the snap, Luca rocked simple white shorts and a light blue button-up shirt as he placed his arms around his 19-year-old beau.

Gemma looked out of this world in a white bodysuit which she covered with a pair of white lace trousers.

Both wore sunglasses as they smiled for the camera.

Fellow Love Island stars and fans were loving the look and took to the comment section to compliment the couple.

Close pal Dami Hope commented: "Deffo are," along with a laughing emoji.

Tasha Ghouri added: "You two [ fire emoji]," while her boyfriend Andre Le Page said: "She’s a lucky girl."

Casa Amor beauty Summer Botwe posted: "so cuteee" while one fan wrote: "Should’ve admitted straightaway," referencing his previous 'punching' comment.

Last month, when the stars were still relaxing in the villa, Paige Thorne suggested he was 'punching' with Gemma.

It started when Adam Collard and the fishmonger discussed Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan, with Luca claiming Mark was punching.

Paige, a former paramedic, asked Luca if he thought he was punching with Gemma, a question he wasn't fond of.

He said: "No, don't be f***ing stupid."

The heated conversation didn't end there as Paige hit back at Luca with: "You need to be realistic. You are punching as Gemma is unreal."

Love Island alum Adam defended his pal and added: "No, I don't think he's punching."

After coming in second in the final and enjoying the real world, Luca finally admitted that he actually might be punching.

The recent sweet snap of the two together was taken on the same day Luca was seen stepping out in Portugal for a meal with Gemma's family, including her father.

He was even seen sitting next to the former Liverpool striker at the table.
