Love Island 's Ruchee has reacted to her devastating exit from the villa, confessing she wasn't as upset as she thought she would be.
Ruchee became the second Islander to be dumped this series on Wednesday night, after a brutal recoupling.
The Islanders had to decide between Ella and Ruchee who to send home after both girls were left single.
It was Ruchee who said goodbye to the villa for good, as her pal Ella was saved by their co-stars in the latest brutal dumping twist.
But Ruchee has said she was "happy" it was her that left and that Ella did not, still holding hope for her and Tyrique to get together.
Speaking after her exit, she shared her villa regrets and what she would do differently after leaving so soon in the series.
She said: "I thought that I would be disappointed, but I’m not because I tried my best and I was myself. It didn’t work out for me and that’s completely fine.
"I thought that Ella was going to get saved because she has a connection in there, I would have probably even nominated myself to go - I’m so happy that they chose her.
"I would want her to continue her journey. I’ve built a really good relationship with the girls and I’m such a girls’ girl.
"I’m glad I got to experience being in the Villa. Coming from an Asian background, I did it for my community - represent! My journey was short, but it was sweet, so I’m happy."
She went on: "I wasn’t really surprised, I had a feeling that Ella would be saved by the Islanders. Her and Tyrique have been doing so well. Obviously the public put them together and I feel like they’re a good match.
"We’ve seen Tyrique and Ella both blossom and get really comfortable with each other, just because a bombshell has come in I don’t think they’re ‘done’."
On her one regret, she said: "No, I don’t think I would have done anything differently. Maybe when I was getting to know Andre, I shouldn’t have been so ‘tunnel visioned’. But at the time I wasn’t feeling anyone else.
"I’m such a one person at a time… even though I was telling everyone to get to know everyone else. I don’t take my own advice! But no regrets, honestly. I enjoyed my time in there and it was a great experience."
Following a dramatic recoupling, Ella was left single after new girl Leah stole her man Tyrique - while Ruchee was left alone after André picked Catherine.
As Ella and Ruchee waited to learn their fates, they were told one of them would be leaving and that the decision would be down to the other Islanders.
As Ruchee and Ella headed to the sundeck, their fellow Islanders deliberated amid Ella's ongoing connection to Tyrique.
It was this connection that gave Ella an advantage as Ruchee had no connection in the villa, and the Islanders believed Ella and Tyrique could still work.
This didn't make it any easier for some of the girls though, with Catherine saying: “This is very difficult, it’s obviously not nice seeing two of your friends standing up there.”
Jess added: “They both have amazing personalities and it’s just unfortunate that it’s come to this.”
Mitchel then said: “I get on with both of them, they’re both my mates and I adore Ruchee, she’s just had a bit of bad luck…”
As the group called the girls back to the fire pit, it was Mehdi who stood up to reveal the result and who was being dumped.
As Ella and Ruchee watched on, Mehdi confirmed they had decided to save Ella and that Ruchee would be dumped immediately.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
