Love Island star Katie Salmon has announced on Mother's Day that she has welcomed her first child. Katie, who starred in the ITV2 dating show in 2016, has welcomed a baby girl with her fiance Harry.
The reality star says she's 'completely in love' as she shared a snap of her newborn daughter on Instagram wearing an adorable grey baby grow with the slogan 'mummy and me' and a red loveheart.
And she also posted photos from the delivery suite as she revealed her daughter's name Thaiga Dean. She explained the unusual name is pronounced 'Tiger.'

"Am officially a Mummy!!!!" she celebrated.
"Had some time off in my baby bubble but figured today would be the best day to let you all know. We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into this magical world. Thaiga Dean (pronounced Tiger).
"I never thought I could feel this way, am completely in love and thought I had everything in life until she came. My life is complete."
She continued: "Thank you to the NHS and Arrowe park hospital I couldn’t have done it without you guys. You have been amazing! We are so lucky to have you."

Katie revealed on Christmas Day that she was engaged to her partner Harry.
"And my fiancé who is just my rock, you are my dream, thank you for giving me the world. We got you forever!" she added.
"Going back into my bubble now I’ll be back soon but right now I’m just so content being with my little family and enjoying every second of this incredible blessing.
"Universe thank you for the greatest gift alive. My beautiful baby daughter."
Katie and Harry, who moved to Thailand to start a new life last February, announced they were going to be parents in January - and Katie said it's their 'biggest blessing.'
"Been Busy Creating Life," she wrote with a moving video montage starting from the moment she saw her pregnancy test result and gasped 'oh my god.'
The montage shared on her Instagram shows Katie's baby scans and smitten Harry lovingly kissing her growing bump.
She wrote: "First came love, then came you! 6 months pregnant with our biggest blessing.
"I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while but my beautiful baby bump is getting hard to hide."
Writing to their baby she said: "We love you so much already baby and cannot wait to meet you.
"I couldn’t do this journey with anybody else other than my best friend. 2022 my favourite year off all, the year I marry my love and we become a family."

She made history as the show first same-sex coupling with the late Sophie Gradon who tragically took her own life in 2018.
