Love Island is set to be rocked as the islanders are forced to make a big decision in a shock recoupling.
Less than a week after the Casa Amor arrivals burst onto the scene, the show will see if the original couples’ relationships will withstand.
The ITV2 show’s infamous stick or twist recoupling is returning with both villas receiving a text on Wednesday telling them to decide who they want to be with.
They must make a decision on whether to stick with their original partners or to recouple with one of the newbies.
The Islanders have mixed reactions to the news.
Determined to make things work with Jacques O’Neil, Paige Thorne says: "I am one of those people that is a glass half full, I am actually really excited to go back just so I can see Jacques again."
Tasha Ghouri, who has had a very up and down relationship with fellow Islander original Andrew Le Page, says: "Ok things are getting real now…"
While Dami Hope, who is coupled with Indiyah Polack but stole a kiss from newcomer Summer Botwe, said: “My head’s fried, scrambled, whatever way you like your eggs. That’s the way my head is right now. I’m scared.”
The big recoupling will see Love Island host Laura Whitmore head back into the villa to see the outcome.
Elsewhere, estate agent Le Page is feeling emotional as he gets emotional about his feelings for Ghouri.
After telling O’Neil he feels like he has been lied to by the model, he says: "I literally opened up to her.”
O’Neil says: “You don’t need to be afraid to show emotion and be upset though, do you know what I mean?
Despite on Sunday being shown pining over Ghouri’s photos, he wasted little time in kissing Coco Lodge and even joking: “Tasha who?”
