Love Island viewers believe something is being "set up" on the show as a love triangle appears to forming with some of the stars. During tonight's (January 24) episode of the ITV2 reality show, Zara's head began to turn for Shaq, leaving fans to believe the producers are in her ear.
Numerous arguments have broken out this week, including one between Olivia and Zara over Tom. However, as seen in tonight's show, the dispute may soon be resolved as Zara has made a U-turn and moved on to Shaq.
Zara said to her fellow Islander: “I’ll be real with you, Tom is obviously ticking pretty much every box for me but it’s early still, I haven’t even spoken to you properly, it would be nice to explore.”

The conversation was then interrupted as Tanya, who is coupled up with Shaq, came over to give him a cup of tea. However, they soon continued as Shaq said: “On the outside you would be someone that I would go for so I do want to explore that to see the vibes.”
Shaq and Zara talked about both being from London as he said: “You’re from London too, you just get it.”
Zara added: “Same with you, we are from the same area, that’s the thing, that would just work instantly.”
Shaq was really front with Tanya about his intentions and how he intends to see where things go with Zara. However, fans are suspicious of the signs of a new love triangle, and many wonder if they are the result of producer interference as the situation has appeared to come out of the blue.
One tweet said: "I think producers have forced this chat between Shaq and Zara because that was very random."
Another sceptical watcher said: "I just know the producers were in Zara’s ear regarding talking to Shaq."
Another viewers questioned: "Zara & Shaq???? Defo producer set up."
This comes after ring girl and actress Olivia and model Zara have failed to see eye to eye as of late after a game of beer pong turned into chaos and the situation grew increasingly tense on Monday evening’s episode. Love Island fans have accused Olivia and Zara of creating fake drama amid their repeated rows, which seemingly erupted out of nowhere.
Lots of viewers are convinced that two of this year's contestants knew each other ahead of the show after seeing the pair commenting on one another's Instagram posts, but now fans of the ITV2 show are convinced that they are deliberately creating drama in a bid to get more screen time.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Love Island: Aftersun airs following Sunday nights episode, hosted by Maya Jama.
