Love Island set for 'stick or twist' recoupling as Laura Whitmore enters the villa

The Love Island couples will have to make a big decision as they are faced with a shock recoupling.

Less than a week after the Casa Amor arrivals rocked the villas, tonight's show will see if the original couples' relationships will weather the storm. When lounging by the pool both villas receive a text telling them that a recoupling looms and they need to decide whether or not to stay in their original couples.

The Islanders have mixed reactions to the news. Paige doesn't seem to be deterred as she admits she's excited to see Jacques again without the knowledge he's getting close to Cheyanne and wanting to be "tested". Tasha and Andrew have seemingly both found new partners despite being the villa's longest-running relationship and Dami has gone behind Indiyah's back with Summer.

Unclear on which direction to go, Dami said: "My head’s fried, scrambled, whatever way you like your eggs. That’s the way my head is right now. I’m scared."

With excitement, nerves and anticipation in the air, the Islanders in the main villa are told to gather around the firepit. Host Laura Whitmore then enters to begin proceedings of the "Stick or Twist" recoupling. Viewers have already seen a preview of tonight's show where they saw Andrew break down in the terrace over fears he's been "lied to" and "made a mug."

Confiding in Jacques, he admits he feels emotional for opening up to Tasha only for the new arrivals to relay she's been making him look foolish. When speaking about their time together, Andrew says he feels he was "with someone and not being enough".
