Love Island 2023 star Tyrique Hyde has revealed that he has no issue with having sex in the villa if he meets the right girl - and he's not worried about his family or friends seeing him in action because he knows how to hide it.
Tyrique, 24, is hoping to find 'genuine love' in the villa and the semi-pro footballer is looking forward to having electric chemistry with one special lady.
Although the handsome sports star has never been in a committed relationship before, he's hopeful that being thrown into the Love Island villa will encourage him to get the ball rolling on his first ever relationship.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Tyrique admitted that if he finds the right girl and they get a night away in the hideaway together, he's going to have to let his mum and his younger sister down by getting it on on reality TV.
While he said it would be a 'sticky' situation for his mum to witness, Tyrique has already come up with a clever plan to hide his antics from the cameras.
The Love Island star has been busy thinking about his bedroom antics while in isolation ahead of his villa debut and admitted that if he does end up 'getting it on', he'll be doing it fully under the sheets in a bid to hide from the cameras.
"Obviously I’ve got a little sister and a mum at home, so it’s a bit of a sticky one. However, if I do really like someone and I have a connection with someone and it does feel right to have sex then I’m not against having sex.
"It’ll be under the cover so my mum and sister can’t see," the new contestant added.
Lifting the lid on his dream woman, the Essex native told The Mirror that one former Love Island star ticks all the boxes.
"I really really think Joanna Chimonides is stunning. She would probably be my dream girl," he gushed.
Asked what he'll bring to the villa, Tyrique said: "I’ll bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty. I don’t sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I’m also not afraid to go after what I want."
Tyrique is also best friends with former Islander, Toby Aromolaran, after the pair grew up together and were in the same class at school.
Of the pair's close bond, the new islander said: "Toby is one of my best friends, we grew up together and were in the same class at school."
Before heading off on his Love Island journey, Toby gave Tyrique some vital advise.
"He's a close friend of mine. Before I went, we sat down and we spoke and he literally said, 'Just be yourself.
"If you try to be something you're not, people are going to see through you. You've got a good personality, so just be yourself and you'll smash it'.
"I didn't really ask him any questions about how it's gonna be or things like that, it'll sort of ruin the experience for me, do you know what I mean? I wanted to go with the unknown."
Love Island returns Monday June 5 on ITV2 and ITVX.
