Love Island 2023 's Tom Clare gets flirty with new girl Claudia Fogarty during Wednesday night's episode after sparking speculation that they already know each other.
Tom, who is currently paired up with Samie Elishi, heads out of the villa with the blonde stunner after her arrival the night before.
Claudia receives a text inviting her to take two boys of her choice out on dates, and she picks Casey O'Gorman and Tom.
There doesn't appear to be any moment between the pair to suggest that they do know each other, or at least it isn't mentioned by the show.
After Tom's confusing reaction to her debut, fans will see him and Claudia having some alone time on Wednesday night.
Tom says to her: "I think I got the best of both worlds, two very nice views, I can’t complain."
When asked why she picked Tom, Claudia says: "The northern charm, you’re very similar to me and you’ve got very good eye contact, I love that."
Next up is Casey’s date with Claudia, so Tom leaves - but has his head been turned?
It comes after his reaction to Claudia's arrival on Tuesday night which left viewers speculating they knew each other.
The boys noticed one more girl making her way towards them at the end of the Dirty Dancing challenge, when they realised they didn't know who it was.
Working out that a new bombshell had arrived the boys cheered Claudia on, as she strutted towards them in a sexy lace outfit with matching red wings.
But it was Tom's reaction to the moment that sent fans into meltdown, with them soon questioning if they knew each other.
Tom appeared to be staring at Claudia as if he was trying to see what she looked like, or perhaps he recognised her.
As she joined the boys and promised to send their heart rates up, he suddenly shouted: "Oh f**k!"
He looked really panicked as he finally adjusted his eyes and got a good look at Claudia, as the episode came to an end.
Some viewers believed he was just super excited and couldn't believe his eyes, with Claudia perhaps being his type.
But other fans of the show believed he knew her and maybe they had dated, given his reaction gave off that vibe.
Taking to Twitter, fans began to guess that Tom was worried - while there is no suggestion that the pair know each other or have dated in the past.
One viewer said: "Does Tom know the new girl? that seemed like a oh s**t I know you?"
Another agreed: "Yessss it was giving me "ex girlfriend" vibes!" as a third said: "Don’t tell me that’s Tom’s ex."
A fourth fan commented: " Tom defo knows the new girl from somewhere."
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
