Tom Clare and Shaq Muhammad left the Love Island main villa for a breather as things proved too much during Movie Night. The annual challenge shows the Islanders what their partners got up to during their time apart in Casa Amor.
This year's Movie Night was called the "messiest yet" by ITV2 and ITVX viewers as the contestants turned on one another as clips played out on the big screen. Things got emotional between Samie Elishi and Tom Clare after the Islanders were shown Tom kissing bombshell Lydia Karakyriakou and later cuddling her in bed.
Samie was left upset by the clip and claimed she was "done" with the relationship after feeling Tom hadn't told her about everything she'd seen. Trying to reconcile after the challenge, Tom approached Samie to share his feelings but the pair ended up arguing with Samie walking away in floods of tears.

Needing a breather Tom was heard saying into his mic: "I need to go outside, bro." Once outside the main villa front doors, an overwhelmed Tom gave himself a pep talk and said: "Pull yourself together, man."
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Samie said: "I've shocked myself about how much I do care. I want to trust him but was I a fool to trust him? He left out so much stuff."
"I care about her so much," Tom was later heard saying. "We were in such a good place and now I feel like we've gone back in reverse."
Tom wasn't the only one who left the villa. While outside Tom was joined by Shaq Muhammad who was in bits after seeing clips of Tanya Mahenga with Martin Akinola in Casa Amor.
Taking two minutes to himself outside the front doors, Shaq could be heard saying: "I'm sick of this." Tom then walked over to console his friend and as Shaq began to cry Tom pulled him in for a hug.
In an extended episode of the ITV2 dating show, the Islanders slept on it and took the next morning to reflect. Tom and Samie talked it out and made up, however, Shaq admitted he was still confused about his feelings towards Tanya.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
