Love Island star Shaughna Phillips made the surprise announcement she is expecting her first child on Instagram on Wednesday night.
The TV personality, 28, who shot to fame when she appeared on the winter series of Love Island in 2020, kept fans guessing about the identity of her mystery boyfriend who was missing from her pregnancy reveal.
But Shaughna's eagle-eyed followers noticed her ultrasound scan included her partner's name Billy as the reality star filmed the heart-warming appointment.
Above the scan of their baby were the words: "Shaughna and Billy's baby".
While not much is known about Billy, the brunette beauty explained back in April he is not interested in being famous.
Lifting the lid on her blossoming romance, the former Love Island star admitted that she wants to keep her relationship with Billy out of the limelight due to the criticism she has faced in the past.
"It’s just private and I think also when you post things all over social media, there are people out there who have no idea who you are but will do anything they can to try and ruin your happiness," she admitted.
"Everyone who knows me or my boyfriend knows that we are together, and I just want to keep it that way really," she told Goss.ie.
The reality TV star has mentioned Billy in past social media posts - on her birthday this year, Shaughna was touched when he organised a candlelit dinner on the beach.
She wrote: "oh he's a keeper. Birthday dinner on the beach".
In another Instagram story, Shaughna joked he wasn't the best at taking photos as she shared a blurry photo.
She captioned it: "Don’t get your boyfriend to take your pictures. Ever."
On Wednesday night, Shaughna shared the news on Instagram with a video which featured footage of her having the ultrasound scan as well as clips of a positive pregnancy test.
She wrote alongside the footage documenting the pregnancy: "Our greatest chapter yet".
She shared the baby's scan photo in the video, as well as confirming to her followers on the platform that the due date for the new arrival is in March next year.
Another clip showed Shaughna announcing the news to fellow Love Island alum Demi Jones, 24, and podcast host Lauren Mahon, 37 - whom she had tagged in the post.
Shaughna was met with an outpouring of love and support after sharing the news earlier this evening, with a number of fellow celebrities congratulating her over it.
This included several Love Island alumni, like Joanna Chimonides who wrote: "OMG. Congrats my darling". Kendall Rae Knight responded: "Literally so so happy for you both".
Fellow former islander Demi - who featured in the video - wrote: "I love you so much. I'm so happy and proud of you". She later added: "I've rewatched this [video] like 50 times".
Nas Majeed said: "Congratulations Shaughna!" Georgia Steel took to the comments section to write: "Ahhh the most exciting! Finally it's out. Love you beautiful".
Shaughna rose to fame on Love Island where she had a relationship with Callum Jones.
But their romance fell apart when he found love with Molly Smith, leading to Shaughna to coin her iconic catchphrase: "Congrats hun".
