Love Island star Samie Elishi insists she's finally 'fine' with Ron Hall after the two argued over the 'weird comments' he made on the show.
Earlier this month, Shaq Muhammad asked Ron whether he made Lana Jenkins his girlfriend because everyone likes her.
Later, Ron told Sanam Harrinanan, Kai Fagan, Tom Clare and Samie: "When I was a viewer, I thought, the ones who have their drama nice and early and then get comfy and treat it like a holiday, They’re the ones who are probably like, they just cruise."
Samie relayed this conversation back to Lana who warned Ron that "everyone has taken that as a game plan".
Ron wasn't too happy about this and had a heated exchange with Samie, telling her that he was "livid" about people talking behind his back.
And now, weeks after leaving the villa, Samie opened up about the conversation and how it panned out.
"It was just a very weird comment that he made and I thought it was weird. Tom was in the conversation with me. We kind of laughed it off a little bit," she said to On Demande Entertainment.
"And news travels fast in the villa... Everyone was now talking about it and I'm very close with Lana and I didn't like that everyone was talking about it and she didn't know. So I thought I need to tell her because if anyone's going to tell her, it's gotta be me. I'm close to her... It's been blown now and people are having lots of opinions about it."
She told Lana what Ron said and told her to do as she will with the information and "that was that".
"And obviously me and Ron had it out and we were fine after that. I feel like it's different when you speak to the person and it was fine, it was squished. That day did just get blown. There were a couple of things that day and it did look like everyone was at Ron but that wasn't the case."
When Ron and Samie had a row, he asked her why she thinks he has a game plan but the conversation quickly turns to the Islander doubling down on her accusation.
Ron says: “I’m not going to lie, I’m quite livid, I’m just not going to have it… I’m not having a whole gaff think that after one challenge I’m playing a game.”
Samie says: “That’s the way it’s been perceived Ron and people were talking about it.”
Ron replies: “The only way that’s being perceived is by either you or Tom going away and taking that and making out as if it was said that way.”
As they continue to talk, Samie says: “It was weird though, it was a weird comment," before later adding: “Ron, you said it, all I’m saying is that's what you said and it can be perceived as weird and everyone in here has an opinion on it.”
Ron hit back: “If they’ve got an opinion, say it to me… Please relay your opinion on the fact you don’t think I'm game playing because I’m not having nine other people thinking I’m game playing when I’ve got my girlfriend in here and people are talking behind my back.”
