Love Island stars Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins have called time on their relationship, just weeks on from discussing their plans for a future together.
The pair, who met in the South African villa at the star of this year, are thought to have "really put everything into their romance" and tried to make things work before reportedly going their separate ways.
Speaking exclusively to the Mirror in May, the two reality TV stars appeared to be loved-up as they gushed about their relationship, but stressed they were taking things slow.
Chatting at the Pride of Manchester Awards, Ron and Lana admitted that while they had hardly left each other's side since leaving the Love Island villa, they had both had individual dreams and goals when it came to setting up home together.
"We’ve only had about four or five days apart [since we left Love Island] but I think we’re just taking it slow," Lana explained on the red carpet.
"We each want to buy a house by ourselves first and then we can share houses," the star added with a laugh.
"I think we’ll do it like a normal couple," Ron chimed in with. "We’ll each have our own space and our own bases and then move in together when it’s that natural development."
When quizzed about where they planned to buy a property together eventually, Lana quickly replied: "Manchester!"
But a love nest in North West England in the future now doesn't look very likely, with sources claiming Ron and Lana have parted ways.
"Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now," the insider revealed to the Daily Mail.
"Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends."
The source added to the publication how distance contributed to the break down of their relationship, with Ron living in Essex and Lana being Manchester based.
"Commuting from Manchester to Essex and back again whenever they wanted to spend time together, as well as managing their work commitments just proved too difficult," they remarked.
The Mirror has approached representatives for both Lana and Ron for comment.
Ron and Lana both appeared in the second ever winter edition on Love Island this year, finishing in second place behind winners winners Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan.
