Former Love Island bombshell Remi Lambert has issued a statement regarding the ongoing bullying row involving to himself, Jacques O'Neill and Luca Bish.
The reality TV star thanked his fans for their support, and slammed Jacques and Luca for "still mocking me after all the stress they put me through in that villa", after the two stars seemingly ridiculed Remi during a recent Instagram Live.
Writing to his Instagram followers on Thursday, Remi referenced the "constant abuse" he says he has endured, and branded the entire situation an "absolute joke".
Remi's Instagram update came just hours before rugby player Jacques issued a public apology for his recent actions and revealed he has sought out therapy, amid allegations he bullied Remi and fellow former Islander Tasha Ghouri.
Jacques, 23, shared a statement on his Instagram story on Thursday August 11 to "acknowledge the situation" and "apologise if my behaviour has caused offence".
In the statement, Gemma Owen's ex-boyfriend explained how was in therapy and admitted "there is work that needs to be done on myself".
Jacques' comments come after Remi accused the rugby player and his pal Luca of sarcastically mocking his rapping during a recent Instagram Live following the Love Island final.
Prior to the sports star sharing his lengthy statement on Thursday, Remi took to Instagram Stories himself to update his followers on how he was feeling amid the ongoing bullying accusations.
"Thankful for all of the support I'm getting," Remi began in the first of two posts. "Letting yous know that I'm getting better each day. The negativity won't stop me. Life's too short to not do things you love."
He then went on to write: "Appreciate the hate as well. Gives me the drive to improve. Never said my raps are good but I know what capable of.
"I've Only been rapping for a year. We all start somewhere. The problem isn't just the live they did. The problem is they're still mocking me after all the stress they put me through in that villa. Constant abuse. Shown them nothing but respect too. Absolute joke."
Following Jacques and Luca's Instagram Live earlier this month, Remi shared a damning post to his Instagram page - which was liked by over 92,000 Instagram users, including Andrew Le Page and girlfriend Tasha.
"Everyone said I lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there," Remi wrote within his rebuttal earlier this week.
"Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clear signs of bullying."
On Thursday - following Remi's recent Instagram statements - Jacques apologised for his actions and claimed no malice was intended as he revealed he has begun to attend regular therapy sessions.
"Life has been very overwhelming recently and admittedly I've probably not handled myself in the best possible way," he wrote with the lengthy statement.
"I take full responsibility for my actions. I'm aware I'm far from perfect and that there is work that needs to be done on myself."
Jacques went on to explain how he had begun therapy, and concluded his statement with: "I'm not asking for sympathy, I just want to acknowledge the situation and move forward as positively as I can.
"However, I know this can be used as an important lesson for me moving forward and over the coming years. I hope I can become the person I want to be and use this new platform to spread a positive message.
"I'm sorry to anyone that I have let down X".
Luca - who is currently on holiday with Gemma Owen - is yet to publicly comment on the situation.
The Mirror has previously approached representatives for both Luca and Jacques for comment.
