Remi Lambert has been booted from the Love Island villa in a big twist during tonight's recoupling.
Fans of the ITV2 show were expecting Davide to get the boot - but after new girl Danica Taylor, a dancer from Leicester, chose to couple up with Luca Bish - leaving Gemma Owen to pick someone else.
She settled on Davide, and with all the other pairings confirmed including Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Jay Younger, it meant bombshell Remi was ejected from the villa.
The other Islanders consoled him as the decision was made.
As she gave her speech, Danica confirmed she had picked fishmonger Luca.
"I've decided to couple up with this boy. I have not even been here 24 hours so this is a really weird situation for me to be in. I've barely got to know any of you. You're all lovely boys, but I didn't come in here to play safe. I need to follow of my heart," she said.
"I can kind of only go on what I can see at face value and somebody who I feel like is usually my type. I need to explore that unfortunately so I'm going to have to follow my heart on this one. The boy that I want to couple up with is Luca."
Gemma looked shocked at her decision, but she went on to pick her former partner Davide, leaving Luca devastated.
Remi is a 22-year-old model from Manchester and he had previously explained how he would love to find a love like Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury during his time on the ITV2 show.
"I am single AF! When I saw Molly [Mae Hague] and Tommy [Fury] and saw how strong they are together, I thought, 'I want a love like that,'" he said, "I think I'm single by choice - I’m too picky. She needs to be 10/10 for everything.
"I’m 6ft3. I’d like a girl to be at least 5ft10. Recently I’ve been going on a lot of dates but I feel like now it’s time to find something more serious. I usually meet girls out and about on a night out."
He said he had no problem approaching girls, especially on a night out, adding: "If I see a girl I like, I’ll just go over without hesitation and sometimes I meet girls through Instagram."
