Paige Thorne has been the target of a hoax by Love Island fraudsters, claiming she'd quit the villa after Jacques O'Neill's emotional departure.
Having been an item for pretty much a full month on the ITV dating show, there were tears for both Paige and Jacques when the 23-year-old rugby player announced that he was going to leave, hours after he was left fuming by comments that bombshell Adam Collard allegedly made about him.
Jacques told Paige he was quitting Love Island as he 'wasn't enjoying himself' anymore and wanted to be 'the best person' for her, in order for them to have a future outside the programme. And, as viewers speculated if there was more behind Jacques' departure than he and producers were letting on, a post circulated online claiming that Welsh paramedic Paige had followed him out the door.
