Love Island's Paige Thorne has revealed she "can't wait" to leave Swansea as she hosted a Q&A session on her Instagram stories. The Welsh reality star also touched on her journey with sobriety, her mental health and relationship with former flame Jacques O'Neill.
The paramedic hosted the session on Monday evening - as the latest series of Love Island aired - and kicked off the questions by suggesting her and her fans 'catch up x'. She was soon flooded with questions, the first of which asked about her sobriety and how she stays committed to it.
Answering candidly, the Swansea-based influencer, who gave up alcohol late last year "because I don't like the person I become when I drink" said: "Substitute with tasty mocktails and non-alcoholic beers 100%. Listen to podcasts around effects of alcohol beforehand. Surround yourself with supportive friends too."

The 24-year-old soon moved on to a question about her mental health, which she opened up about in December 2022, saying she'd been "struggling". Read more on that here. However, it seems she has flipped that on its head as she told her followers: "Finally at such a good place right now. It's been a little rollercoaster of emotions but deffo back to being my bubbly happy self."
She added that, although she was happy in herself again, she "can't wait" to move away from her hometown. This revelation came as she replied to a question asking whether she'd settle in Swansea down by saying: "Absolutely not. Can't wait to move, just waiting on the right time." Keeping in tune with this topic, later in her Instagram stories, she explained how travelling "as much as possible" is one of her goals for 2023, alongside prioritising her health and a "background business".
With Love Island back on our screens and rumours circling that Jacques and Paige are back together - after the rugby player left a comment on one of her Instagram posts - the former Love Islander confirmed the pair are not back on. She explained: "There's honestly nothing to really say. However, we are on good terms and just want each other to be happy."
Later in the Q&A, Paige confirmed that she was still doing work as a paramedic, although operating privately "due to work politics". She also touched on her dating life and her former relationship with Adam Collard. Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
