Paige Thorne has revealed she is 'back in contact' with Love Island ex Jacques O'Neill, after her split from Adam Collard, as well as claiming there was more than meets the eye to the cheating allegations against him.
Welsh paramedic Paige and rugby player and Gemma Owen's ex Jacques grew close after he made an arrival as an early bombshell in the latest series of the ITV show. The two were earmarked as potential favourites to win Love Island at one point, before things soured slightly and Jacques 'betrayed' Paige by kissing another girl while she was in Casa Amor. As things looked like getting back on track, the apple cart was upset when Adam entered the villa, four years after he first starred on the show.
Jacques quit Love Island just a day later, telling Paige he was leaving to become "a better person," in the hope they'd have a future together. However, she wasted little time in getting to know Adam better, with the two becoming an item and staying in the villa until the day before the final, exiting the show in fifth place.

After leaving the villa, Adam and Paige appeared on Lorraine to confirm they were 'official' after both visiting each other's home towns. However, after Adam was the subject of cheating rumours, something he denied, Paige deleted all trace of him from her Instagram grid, before the Newcastle gym owner announced they'd called it quits when asked at the National Television Awards.
And, now Paige, who has just filmed Britain Get Singing for ITV, has declared that she's speaking to Jacques again, coming clean while guesting on the Saving Grace podcast. She said: "There has been slight contact, not contact of the lips. Lets not forget how this boy done me in Casa. You don’t get this again."
Paige added: "Obviously we had a vibe in there. But we’re just going to see where things go. I’m in zero rush to be with any other men in my life because men are trash."
She admitted she'd been going through "a s**ty time," after her break up from Adam, saying there was more to it than the video which surfaced him hugging a girl in a McDonald's on a night out. Paige explained: "It’s not just that video. "There are other videos that people don’t know about of different people, on the same night, in different locations."
