Love Island’s Paige Thorne has revealed she had to be coaxed off camera to give Adam Collard a chance during the most recent season of the popular dating show.
The pair came in fifth place in August after hitting it off on camera almost immediately - but things weren’t as they seemed according to a recent interview.
Talking to Fubar Radio, Paige said she was initially “put off” talking to Adam because of things the other girls in the villa had said about him and the fact that she didn't know who he was.

She said at one point, producers tried to convince her otherwise and said: "I got pulled aside and they were like, 'Paige, why are you already writing him off before you've had a chance?'
"I was like, because of what the girls have been saying. I don't need to have a chat with him to know there's not going to be a difference, and they were like 'no, be open-minded and just talk to him and give him a chance.'"
She went on to reveal what the other Islanders had been saying about Adam and admitted: "I was just like, what is the point, he's just going to be a massive player, I'm not in here for a player, I'm here for something serious."
Paige had been coupled up with Jacques O'Neill before his head was turned by other girls in Casa Amor, which led to trouble between the pair - Jacques quit the show just days later.
Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Adam admitted that one of the main reasons he returned to the Mallorca villa for a second run was because of the financial opportunities the show brings.
"You are getting a few followers, if you have a business, like me, it's going to help amplify that and put you in a better situation and there's going to be loads of really good opportunities afterward,” he said.
"So yes, everyone comes on and says 'I am here to find love' and that, yes you kind of are and obviously that is unreal, but nobody is daft.”
