Love Island viewers expressed their concerns and were left torn over fan favourites Paige Thorne and Jacques O’Neill after Gemma Owen’s ex was left seriously annoyed over an apparent 'snub.'
Welsh paramedic Paige has been many people’s favourite Islander since the early days of the new series, with her and Jacques the hot tips with bookies to triumph this year.
However, over the last few days a spanner has been thrown into the works of their burgeoning Love Island relationship after Jay ‘stole’ Paige away from Jacques by choosing to recouple with her.
Jay made no secret of the fact that he is keen on Paige and, despite her reassuring Jacques, she left the rugby player far from impressed when, after asking her to go for a swim, she instead went to talk to Jay.

Jacques vented his anger to Andrew, fuming: “She’s f**led me off now, she can f**k off,” with Andrew urging him not to lose his head.
Jacques then took his frustrations to Dami, saying: “Now I am a bit…she’s maybe saying one thing to me then doing another.”
Viewers watching at home were seriously torn on what they were watching, offering different takes on the situations. While some were left hoping Paige would try and steer clear of Jay, others argued Jacques’ anger over what happened have them major ‘red flags.”
Siding with Jacques, one tweeted: “ Not Paige f**king Jacques about after him opening up to her last night,” with another posting: “I wish Paige would just tell Jay to do one, she’s doing my head in“
Jacques himself admitted he regretted telling Paige to get to know Jay, something which viewers were also quick to point out, with one commenting: “ Jacques, you TOLD Paige to get to know Jay, now that she’s doing it - you’re angry.” Taking things further than that, another tweeted: “ JACQUES IS SOOOOO RED FLAG VIBESS”
Later in the episode, after she and Jacques talking things through, Paige sat Jay down and said she was happy with Jacques.
