Once again, the hotties of the UK have united in the Love Island villa in the hope of finding The One.
And although the show has changed massively over the years - remember the booze and fags? - one thing has stayed the same, and that's the dreaded dumpings.
Be it through a recoupling, public vote or a choice the islanders are forced to make, there have been some emotional departures from the Majorca villa.
And the worst ones are always the ones the villa mates don't see coming.
And while in the real world heartbreaks are healed with furious phone calls and a boozy brunch, that's not an option for the villa mates who rely on each other and a team of trained counsellors to get them through if needed.
So with the eighth series of Love Island in full swing, we take a look back at the devastating dumpings that shook the villa...
Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths - 2019
Amber was as a tough nut to crack, and it took a while for her to succumb to the charms of firefighter Michael Griffiths.
But no sooner had she fallen for him, then the girls were shipped out to Casa Amor. And while she stayed faithful, Michael did not and she arrived back to find he'd recoupled with Joanna Chimonides in savage scenes.
The devastated beautician spent the next couple of weeks in tears until Greg O'Shea arrived and swept her off her feet - much to Michael's annoyance.
He'd refused to leave the island with Joanna when she was dumped days earlier and desperately tried to crack on with Amber to secure his place on the island. She wasn't having a bar of it though and chose Greg over him at a dramatic recoupling.
Terry Walsh and Malin Andersson - 2016

When Malin was shockingly dumped from the island, official boyfriend Terry didn't follow her.
In fact, he didn't even wait a full day before admitting he didn't miss Malin and cracked on with Emma-Jane Woodham instead.
"I’ll be honest with you, I’m just not missing Malin one bit," he shadily told his villa mates, insisting he'd been planning to dump her all along.
"When I met Malin, the spark was amazing. But as time went on, she was just chipping and chipping and chipping.
"I said up there, ‘Babe, you’re pushing me away’. I went to bed that night and in my head I was like ‘When I wake up, I’ve got to break up with her."
Unluckily for Terry, Malin was watching from home and the proverbial hit the fan when producers sent her back in to confront him.
Laura Anderson and Wes Nelson and Jack Fowler - 2018
He was happy, but could he be happier?
Those were Wes Nelson's now infamous words when he brutally told Day One love Laura Anderson he planned to crack on with former stripper Megan Barton-Hanson.
Just days earlier he'd told Laura he was 'falling' for her, but his head did a 180 the second Megan expressed an interest.
And refusing to be second best, Laura ended things with Wes.
The broken-hearted air hostess was so gutted that she ran away from the villa and later spent the night in the beach hut chain-smoking her way through 20 cigarettes.
But her agony wasn't over yet! The Scot then got savagely pied by Jack Fowler after Wes - of all people - egged him on to dump her in favour of bombshell Laura Crane.
Sitting her down in the exact spot that she split from Wes, Jack told her: "I just feel as if, and it's so frustrating because it's what I feel I cant control how I feel as much as I really want it to work.
"For me outside the villa I can’t see it working."
She eventually coupled with Paul Knops and they came second on the show, but that ended bitterly when an ex of Paul's claimed she'd been waiting for him in New York all along.
Camilla Thurlow and Jonny Mitchell - 2017
Poor Camilla was left sobbing when J onny dumped her for Tyla Carr then proceeded to get hot and heavy with his new love in right in front of her.
The love rat had originally planned to phase Camilla out but was forced to come clean when Dom Lever told everyone his cunning plan.
Camilla tried to move on with Craig Lawson but cooled things because it 'wasn't fair' to lead him on when she wasn't over Jonny.
Thankfully hunky model Jamie Jewitt was sent in as a delicious present for Camilla and the pair are one of the few Love Island couples who are still together.
Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart - 2019
Amy and Curtis coupled up early in the show and quickly became the sensible parents of the villa before Curtis dramatically tore the whole family apart.
Their 'half-girlfriend/boyfriend' relationship imploded when Amy headed to Casa Amor and stayed loyal before returning to the villa with the aim of dropping the L-bomb.
But Curtis had been getting busy, cracking on with newbie Jourdan Riane.
The first Amy realised was when she saw the look of horror on her friends' faces at the recoupling, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when Curtis brutally admitted he didn't really fancy her or see a future.
Really sticking the knife in, he revealed he'd actually wanted to recouple with Jourdan but couldn't because she chose Danny Williams.
Heartbreakingly, Amy decided she wanted to fix their problems but Curtis refused and proceeded to crack on with Maura Higgins.
She cried: “I thought I’d met my first love and ‘the one’ and it turns out I haven’t. I’m someone’s back-up plan yet again.
“I wouldn’t have ever looked at anyone else. He was my future and now I have nothing and he’s taken that away from me.”
Amy was so bereft that she lost 6lbs in a matter of days and claimed producers stepped in to force her to eat. She also left the villa to undergo 12 therapy sessions before walking out for the sake of her mental health.
She has since committed to a further year of therapy funded by the show in a bid to move on.
Rykard Jenkins and Rachel Fenton - 2016
Rykard scored a 10 on the dirty dog-o-meter after getting down and dirty with the other half of his 'friend' coupling, Olivia Buckland, while love interest Rachel slept just inches away.
Rachel then got voted off and late host Caroline Flack told her everything about Rykard's tyst in her exit interview.
The pair then furiously battled it out on TV with Rachel asking, “Why did you suddenly turn and have sex with another girl in a bed next to me?
"I had conversations with her about you and how happy I was, how much I liked you and she could literally look me in the eye and still know that she slept with you a day after we had that amazing night together."
Just when it looked like it was all over, Rykard dramatically managed to pull it back by penning her a poem about her "big, beautiful ears".
They did give it a go in the real world but ultimately split after 18 months.
