Love Island's Montel McKennzie admits to making a “massive mistake” with Casa Amor bombshell Tink Reading tonight.
The Islanders have been split since Sunday thanks to the return of Casa Amor and fans were stunned to see Montel, who was already coupled up with Leah Taylor, get busy under the sheets with Tink.
During Wednesday night’s episode, which saw Maya Jama return to host the explosive recoupling, Tink was fuming after Montel decided to stick with Leah - despite having his head turned by the Brummie bombshell.
When asked what she thought of the result, Tink did not hold back, and confessed she and Montel were “not PG” when sharing a bed.
“I didn’t think I’d be standing here. Just the past couple of days, Montel did say he had more in common with me than he did Leah,” she said while everyone was gathered around the fire pit.
“And the night that we had in bed together wasn’t exactly PG, so…” Tink fired.
After the recoupling, Leah demands to know exactly what Montel got up to, and in Thursday night’s episode, the semi-professional footballer began blaming the other boys for influencing him in Casa Amor.
“In that moment, all you had to do was say I kissed her…not mentioning the boys. That’s all you had to do. I would have been like, ‘cool, thanks for telling me’ and moved on…no two people physically push your heads together…you can’t blame it on everyone else,” Leah fumes.
Desperate to reassure Leah, he tries to take responsibility for his actions - just moments after accusing the boys of making him indulge in non-PG action under the covers with Tink.
“It was a massive mistake from me. Over the last 24 hours I’ve learnt a lot…the happiest moment was me seeing you walk back by yourself,” he pleaded.
After she was dumped from the villa, Tink said she wanted nothing to do with Montel, and didn't expect to be leaving so soon.
“I was still shocked as I didn’t expect it from what I thought was the genuine connection I had with Montel, so I was 90% sure I would stay,” Tink shared.
“If you can move mad like that, I don't want any involvement. In the nicest possible way, Leah can have him,” she fired.
