Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague 'struggling' with body shape during pregnancy

Molly-Mae Hague has shared her experience of pregnancy 'so far' with fans in a series of videos - the first shot with her sitting on her bathroom floor. She has revealed how she has coped with her changing shape and some unexpected symptoms and struggles of pregnancy.

The influencer, who is in a relationship with Tommy Fury, first met her now long-term boyfriend on ITV dating show Love Island, in 2019. The popular pair announced that they were expecting their first child via Instagram.

Molly, 23, who is now six months pregnant, shared details of her journey so far with fans in a YouTube video. She said that the main symptom of her pregnancy has been hunger - and that she hasn't been able to stop herself from eating everything that she craves.

She has even joked that her midwife was left 'shocked' when she revealed how much weight she had gained, reported the Mirror. She said she had already gained a stone within the first 13-weeks of her pregnancy. Explaining, she said: "Throughout my pregnancy so far I have been beyond lucky. I've had literally no morning sickness or sickness at all - literally nothing.

"Literally, all I've had to do is cure my little sickness moments has been to eat, which has meant that I've already gained a stone - but we don't care guys. I've already told my midwife how much weight I had put on already and she was like 'that's not normal'. But the hunger has definitely been my main symptom. And my biggest challenge has definitely been mentally."

With her naturally changing shape, Molly took the opportunity to discuss the topic of body image and confidence. She said: "I am really really struggling with my body at the minute and I knew this would happen. I knew that this was going to be the thing I struggled with the most out of this whole entire journey.

"I've always struggled with my body image. I've always been quite conscious of my body - I don't tend to show off too much skin. I don't like Summer and Spring because I don't like revealing my body. I knew this part of the journey, and watching my body change so much already would be so hard. I know it's a blessing and it's amazing and it's meant to be changing but it has been hard."

The creative director for clothing brand Pretty Little Thing, didn't, however, give away her due date. Instead, she said she was "going to keep those to myself." Adding: "It's just not something I'm going to share. From around my videos you guys are definitely going to work out around the time my baby is due. I feel like sharing dates and stuff, anything can happen."
