Love Island favourite Molly Marsh has revealed she used to get spotted by fans before she even entered the villa.
The 21-year-old musical theatre performer and social media influencer from Doncaster already has over 124,000 followers on Instagram.
Depending on how well she does on the ITV2 dating show, this could rise to well over 1 million by the time it ends.
It was rumoured Molly had even been offered a six-figure brand deal after just four days in the villa.
And Molly – daughter of Coronation Street star Jane Marsh – isn’t afraid of admitting that while she has gone on the show to find love, she also wants to boost her career.
In a chat with New magazine before jetting off to Majorca to enter the Love Island villa, Molly said: “Who wouldn’t want to find someone and find love?
“The same with money. Who wouldn’t want to go on a show and win money?
“And with the fame side of things, because I’m in the social media industry, I do have a sprinkle of that fame and getting noticed when I go out.”
At the moment Molly seems to be loved up with Zach and the pair are favourites to win this year’s show.
In recent episodes Molly gushed over bad boy Zach, who ruffled a few feathers at the beginning, saying it ‘feels so right’.
She previously admitted she was ‘actually quite old-fashioned’ and had never gone out and partied or used dating apps to find someone.
But even if she is in there for fame, she says she is also open to meeting ‘The One’ while she is in the villa.
Qualities Molly listed she was looking for in men included ‘a cheeky smile, a cheeky personality and someone that is family orientated' - and she claims Joe Swash is her ideal man.
Before going on Love Island, Molly appeared to confess she had dated none other than Tommy Fury – and was not friends with his current girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
A clip of the influencer surfaced on social media where she appears to confirm that she and the boxer were once an item.
In a TikTok video three years ago, the then-teenager is asked: 'You dated Tommy Fury before he went on Love Island?'
In time with the music, she sheepishly responds 'yeah' as she suggestively strokes her face.
'You and Molly-Mae are still good friends now?' then flashes up and Molly pauses, raises her eyebrows and then stares into the camera and cheekily says 'What, now?'.
The clip from 2020 was a year after Tommy and Molly-Mae met on series 5 of Love Island in 2019.
Tommy has been with Molly-Mae ever since and the couple welcomed their first child together, a little girl called Bambi, in January.
