Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson becomes a millionaire thanks to OnlyFans fame

Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson has officially become a millionaire, thanks to her OnlyFans account.

The X-rated subscription-based service allows content creators to earn money from users who subscribe to their account to see racy lingerie snaps as well as explicit content.

Megan, 28, who shot to fame when she appeared on Love Island in 2018, became one of the first reality stars to sign up to the x-rated site in 2020.

The blonde bombshell charges her subscribers $24.99 a month to access to her exclusive content – which also includes 'uncensored' photos and nudes.

According to Megan’s latest accounts, the former Love Island star made over a million pounds in the last financial year.

Her company, MBH Productions Ltd has, £389,475 cash in the bank, and made approximately £743,000 last year, according to The Sun.

This was after she paid up £141k in corporation tax.

The staggering financial figures means Megan earned a total of £1.13 million up to 31 August 2021 - double what she made in 2020.

In a recent interview where she was quizzed about her OnlyFans account, Megan admitted that she was 'proud' to be a sexy, independent woman.

"I'm so proud of OnlyFans," the beauty admitted.

"I knew how much girls I used to work with in the sex industry were making on webcamming, so I thought, ‘Why not?’.

“I can’t believe how well I’ve done, I’m smashing it.”

However, Megan's decision to start an OnlyFans hasn't been a completely positive experience as the blonde bombshell regularly gets blasted with abuse on social media.

Most recently, Megan confessed that she gets more online hate from women than she does men with cruel trolls telling her she will 'never get a husband.'

Speaking on Metro.co.uk's Smut Drop podcast, Megan said: "They love to tell me like 'You’ll never get a husband, you’ll never settle down, people aren’t going to want you, you’re such a slut, aren’t you embarrassed?', and just stuff like that."

"I get more trolling and more hate in my DMs from other women. It’s kind of sad but I feel like it’s more their issue.

"Because maybe there is a part of them deep down that would love to be as liberated and free and be like 'Do you know what, I want to have more than five sexual partners in my lifetime and shout about it and be liberated' but they can’t because of their friendship groups or their family, so they don’t like to see me do the opposite. I don’t know."
