Love Island's Mary Bedford 'cut, bruised and shaken' after horror car crash

Mary Bedford has claimed that she is "lucky" after suffering cuts and bruises in a horror car crash.

The 23-year-old Love Island star has seen her £50,000 dream motor, a Range Rover Velar, written off following the smash.

The reality star was left shaken by the incident and was covered in 'cuts and bruises' as she posted a photo of the scene with her damaged car.

Writing on Instagram, alongside the pic, Mary shared: "Someone must have been looking down on me today… very shaken up, cut and bruised but so grateful to be back home tonight.”

In the photo, the Range Rover is seen to be crushed with the wheels damaged beyond repair. The driver's airbag has been deployed after the impact.

Mary had revealed last year that she had spent a fortune on the car and had found it difficult to believe that she now owned the car of her dreams.

The influencer had shot to fame on the ITV2 dating show last year, when she joined at the Casa Amor stage of the series.

Mary was brought back to the main villa by Toby Aromolaran but he soon went back to Chloe.

Mary then moved on with Sam Jackson before finally coupling with Aaron Simpson.

Unfortunately, they were not to last and Mary soon found herself dumped from the villa but heading towards a modelling contract.

In recent weeks, Mary has been linked with Jacques O'Neill, who left Love Island in the summer after he felt his relationship with Paige Thorne could be taken no further.

Mary and Jacques were seen leaving his flat in Manchester, sparking rumours that they may be hooking up together.
