Love Island's Luca Bish got a grilling from his own parents for his behaviour towards Tasha Ghouri.
Sunday's episode saw the contestants' loved ones arrive at the Majorca villa during the annual Meet The Parents instalment before Monday's grand finale.
Close friends and relatives showed up either in person or via video calls for the first contact with the remaining 10 islanders since the show began on Monday June 6.
There has been plenty of ups and downs throughout the eight weeks of the popular ITV2 dating show with five couples remaining at the start of the penultimate episode of series eight.
Gemma Owen and Luca have been together since day five when the fishmonger couple up with the 19-year-old international dressage rider and he asked his parents for their views on his girl he is coupled up with.
Luca's mum, Maria said: "The first night when she said 'you're a Bish, that's a weird name' we just said 'they fancy each other'. I knew it, definitely.
"I love the values and morals she has. Close to her family and respectful."
His dad Michael jumped in with his opinion: "She puts you straight, doesn't she?"
His mum then added: "I love that you both understand each other's banter. I'm really happy for you Luca.
"I can see you are very similar, hot-headed, we've laughed, we've cried and then there have been times when I've wanted to give you a good telling off."
Both of Luca's parents explained he "sometime over reacted" to certain situations in the villa, which saw the 23-year-old question whether he was too strong when confronting Tasha earlier in the series.
His mother said: "Luca, when you come home we will have a chat about it. But do you know what, you've resolved it. That's the main thing. Yeah, you did overstep the mark."
Luca replied: "If I've done wrong then I know it and hearing you two saying it, I know (it) even more."
Following their conservation, Luca and his parents met Gemma's loved ones for the first time - mum Louise and close friend Sarah.
Sarah spoke about how she felt that she already knew Luca after watching their relationship blossom during the course of the last eight weeks.
Louise also told Luca that he had a striking resemble to Gemma's dad - former England captain Michael Owen - on a photo that has gone viral on social media.
Luca and Gemma are still in with a chance of claiming the £50,000 prize money after Paige Thorne and Adam Collard were cruelly dumped just one day before Monday's final.
