Alarmed Love Island viewers have raised 'red flag' concerns about Luca Bish, saying his behaviour is making them feel increasingly comfortable.
Brighton fishmonger Luca, instantly famous for his VT intro 'I'm Luca Bish and I sell fish,' started off his time in the villa as a clear fan favourite, particularly as he was paired with Paige Thorne, another really popular contestant. However, after just a few days with the Welsh paramedic and, despite insisting he was happy with her, Luca suddenly turned his attentions to Gemma Owen, despite the fact viewers had barely seen them speak a word to each other in their first week in the villa.
While everyone who watched Love Island knows that Gemma's dad is Michael Owen, Luca appeared not to realise, or was very good at bluffing, as he quizzed Gemma on if him and her dad would get on. Days later, Luca asked Gemma what her favourite holiday destination was, before telling her he had 'big plans for her,' when they left villa, prompting Gemma to urge him to slow down.
The 19-year-old then majorly put her foot in it when she called Luca by her ex Jacques' name, as her former boyfriend, who entered as a bombshell, was standing right next to her. This led to a fraught conversation with Luca as viewers speculated that the sparks had far from gone out between Gemma and Jacques.

And, having seen Luca exhibit more possessive behaviour on Wednesday night's episode, when he stormed off after seeing Gemma and Jacques chatting., viewers are now saying they're seeing red flags everywhere when it comes to Luca. One took to Twitter whilst watching the show to post: "Luca is such a waking red flag, so childish and raging all the time," with another, in full agreement, reacting: gemma is ignoring so many red flags from luca," with another tweeting: "I am sorry but Luca is a walking red flag. You’ve known her 2 weeks and you’re acting like she’s your property . It’s really not coming across well son."
However, for the wealth of 'red flag' posts about Luca on Wednesday night, other viewers argued his behaviour was totally understandable, given the situation he finds himself in with Gemma and her ex. Defending him, one fan commented: "yeah u may say the way luca reacts is red flag but i see where he’s coming from she 100% still wants her ex," and a second, sharing the same point of view, responding: "It's funny bcz the same ppl who believes that Luca overreacted to Gemma callin him her Ex's name would act the same or worse if the same happened to them. Red flag? His reaction is understandable. Gemma havin her Ex on her mind enough to say his name IS the red flag."
